The Apple Television is a semi-new multimedia electronic device that enables the public to display all of their content from iTunes onto their television screen. Also, online programs, such as YouTube, Hulu, Netflix, and HBO Go are available on this ultimate device. It is a digital box, similar to a TiVo box, that you can connect to your television and have complete access to all that is available on the device. Through the home page, you have access your movies, television show episodes, and music that you have purchased from iTunes. You also have unlimited access to YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, and more. This is truly an amazing item, as it compiles all of the media you love onto one easily-accessible device. As of now, there are other televisions like this, where they offer the same things, but the Apple TV was one of the firsts that brought the idea of a multimedia television to life. Since it came out three years ago, Apple has released new and updated versions, where you can gain access to even more of all the media you love.
Just the other day, I went to one of my friends' houses, and discovered that they just got themselves an Apple TV. I was absolutely amazed at how modern it was, along with all of the content offered on the device. My friend and her family are able to access their music, movies, and Netflix account within one push of a button on their television screen. I've heard about the Apple TV for a while, but I've never experienced it personally.
This really just shows us how modern everything is becoming. iPhones, Apple TVs, Laptops, etc. All of these electronics have taken over and they will continue to do so. All of these devices associated with accessing media have completely taken over this generation. When I actually start to think about it, I realize how awful it is. It's not good that we rely on all of these inanimate objects that really don't do anything to fulfill our lives. As a teenager, it may feel as if your cell phone is your whole world, but it's not. We need to become aware of all that is happening around us. Seeing an Apple TV for the first time was quite fascinating for me, but it still made me realize yet again how much control these electronics have over us. And it's not okay.
